EMPLOYERS

The most effective way to reach consumers is through their workplace.

ENTREPRENEURS

Wherever you go to get funding your personal credit is going to be a deciding factor.

Since you have accessed our website, you have shown an interest in what we offer. So let’s begin our relationship by asking you a couple of questions. Were you ever taught the basics of credit? By that we mean, how did you discover what is reported on your credit report? Who told you the effect that your credit report has on the quality of your life? What is a credit score, and how is it determined? Did you know that closing accounts hurt your credit score? Did your parents or some class in school teach you these things? Or are you like the majority of consumers, you went to the school of hard knocks.

If the school of hard knocks was your teacher, do you think that your students, employees, friends, and relatives, have had a similar experience? You are probably unsure what their level of financial knowledge is, since most people will tell you about a sensitive operation, an arrest, or a cheating spouse, before they will discuss their finances. Therefore, since most consumers are not talking about their finances, nor asking questions, they continue to make uninformed financial decisions that have placed many of them in dire financial straits.

This situation, a lack of financial knowledge on the basic elements of credit, led to the creation of WeTeC (We Teach Credit), Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to improving Financial Literacy.
