Higher Education

One of the biggest financial disasters we face as a nation is not properly educating our youth about money. In a nation where a third of our high school seniors already use a credit card, and a higher proportion have an ATM card, increasing Financial Literacy among our youth should be a priority. This is especially true for college students. College is where most consumers begin acquiring debt from school loans, apartments, credit cards, and more. Due to a lack of financial preparation, most of our youth do not have the financial knowledge they need to make educated financial choices, nor the skills to get out of the financial dilemmas they may face in adulthood. If we don’t make financial education a priority, we’ll raise a generation of young adults who overspend, borrow more than they can repay, and save less than they should. We believe that the prime time to increase the Financial Literacy of our youth is to reach them during their college years.

By bringing the The Basics of Credit to your institution of higher learning, you will provide your students with the foundation they need to make educated financial decisions. Today’s college students are tomorrow’s parents, decision makers, and consumers. By empowering college students today, with good money management skills, your college, university, or technical school will assist in putting our country on the right financial track for future generations.
